Radix puerariae can reduce fever, produce saliva, and relieve diarrhea. Its chemical composition is complicated, including puerarin, xyloside, soy flavonoids, soybean flavonoid glycosides, beta-sitosterol, daidzin, daidzein. The main effective components are puerarin and daidzein.
